鶹ƵConstruction is proud to announce that, in joint venture with Kuney Construction, we have been selected by Grant County Public Utility District to deliver the spillway stability improvements at Priest Rapids Dam, a key hydropower asset on the Columbia River.

The Nicholson-Kuney Joint Venture was awarded the contract based on its combined expertise in geotechnical construction, heavy civil infrastructure, and complex over-water construction. Together, the joint venture will implement a series of upgrades designed to strengthen the long-term performance and resilience of the dam’s spillway.

“This project reinforces our commitment to supporting safe, reliable infrastructure that communities depend on every day,” said Nigel Miller, Senior Vice President of Nicholson’s Western Division. “We're honored to bring our collective experience to a project that plays a critical role in supporting clean energy and regional infrastructure.”

The project integrates Nicholson’s capabilities in specialty geotechnical construction with Kuney Construction’s experience in marine, heavy civil, and temporary works. This strategic partnership positions the joint venture to safely and efficiently deliver a project with significant logistical and technical demands.
